Jednou jsme navštivili náš Labáček a trochu si zatloukli do ledíku.Vytáhli jsme i Iwoše, zavzpomínali na staré časy a perfektně si užili den.
Nejvíce času jsme asi strávili na bouldrovce v Makaku, buď při závodění na Tříska Cupu, nebo při pokusech o zdolání bouldrů, co jsme nevylezli na závodech. Závody se pořádaly skoro každý první pátek v měsíci (celkem šest závodů). Sice je povoleno závodit až od třinácti let, ale Oja dostal výjimku, tak jsme mohli bojovat celá rodinka (skoro celá: Monča bojuje v Kanadě). Někdy se dařilo více, někdy méně, ale nakonec jsme s Jíťou obsadili v celkovém pořadí druhé místo. Oja sice závodil s dospěláky, ale občas předváděl ďábelské kousky.
V únoru jsme navštivili bouldrové klání v Ádru. Super lidi, super bouldry. Kvalifikace čtrnáct bouldříků a pak finále. Ojovi povolili závodit s holkama (ženami), tak jsme všichni postoupili do finále. Finále osm lidiček, OS pokus a tři opravné. Nakonec Oja druhý, Jíťa třetí a já nakonec taky druhý.
Dvakrát jsme navštívili i Pražskou bouldrovku 13ku. Jednou jsme se byli před tím rozskákat v Jump parku. Docela nezvyk, Oja s kámošem Máťou byli ve svém živlu. Já s Jíťou ani ne - starého orla novým kouskům nenaučíš :).
Jinak bouldrovka super, velké množství boulderů všech druhů. Klasa motivační, ale nakonec klasika: V9 jde rychle a V5 je boj. To nevadí, zalezli jsme super, Oja dal i V7 OS.
Dokonce jsem jednou vyrazil bouldřit i ven. Na plánu bylo Polsko, Jelenia Góra a Katharsis. V Jelenie Góre bouldry nenajdu, asi trochu i kvůli nervozitě z rozbitého auta. Tak volím ústup do Čech. V Harrachově mě nabírá Tom s Ifkou a míříme na Katharsis. Podmínka docela dobrá, tření jde, ale vršek je pod ledem.Vyčištění, zkrokování, ale Katharsis jen do půlky a vedlejší hrana po očištění a nacvičení na laně také jen spodní část. Možná někdy jindy.
Oja se zúčastnil 4.března, den po závodech v Makaku, i bouldrových dětských závodů v Hronově.Všechny bouldery na první pokus, takže z toho bylo první místo :).
Winter is almost over, so let's talk about what we have been doing. Apart from work we were climbing a little, too.
Once we visited Labáček and hit the ice. We took Iwoš with us and had a great day, remembering the good old times.
Most time we were spending at the artificial wall in Makak, either competing in the Tříska Cup or trying to finish the boulders we couldn't climb during the six competitions that were taking place almost every first Friday of the month. Even though the rules said people only could take part if they were 13 or older, Oja got an exception so the whole family (well... almost whole family - Monča was in Canada) got the chance. Sometimes we did good, other times not so good, but in the end Jíťa and me were second in the overall score. Oja was climbing with the adults but he showed us some pretty cool stuff.
In February we went to the bouldering competition in Adršpach. Great people, great boulders. The qualification had 14 boulders and was followed by the final. Oja was allowed to climb in the women's category so we all were among the eight lucky climbers who passed to the final. There was one OS attempt for the boulder and three more non-OS attempts. Oja and me ended up 2nd, Jíťa was 3rd.
We also visited the Prague 13-ka wall. Before one of these visits we warmed up in the Jumppark, which was a bit of an adventure for us, Oja and his friend Máťa enjoyed it a lot, Jíťa and me were a bit uneasy... well, you cannot teach an old dog new tricks :)
Anyway, the wall is amazing, many boulders of all different types. The grade is motivational, but in the end it's as always: V9 seems easy and V5 gives us a hard time. Never mind, we enjoyed some pretty good climbing, Oja even did a V7 OS.
I also did some outdoor bouldering. The plan was to go to Poland, Jelenia Góra and Katharsis. I can't find the boulders at Jelenia Góra, though, maybe partly because of being nervous about the broken car. So I retreat back to the Czech Republic. In Harrachov Tom and Ifka pick me up and we head for Katharsis. The conditions are quite good, friction is ok but the top is frozen. We clean and try the moves but I can climb Katharsis only halfway up and from the nearby edge (after some cleaning and trying it on rope) I also finish just the lower part. Maybe some other time I'll be luckier.
On 4th March Oja took part in the bouldering competion for children in Hronov. He climbed all the boulders at the first attempt so it was a first place for him :)
